Heard a cat hollering at the gas station this morning and pulled this lil cutie out. Now he's in my bathroom until we can get lil man checked out at the vet. Gotta find him a home.

Steam_Powered_Banana OP update Kitty is a healthy lil boi and he's too young for blod test. Vet says 5-6 weeks old. Most shelters in our area won't take kitties under 8 weeks, so I guess he's hanging out for a while.

Lucy420247 Slow introductions through a door, then through a screen or something similar first. They probably won't like it initially but please give it time. I'm sure they will become the best of friends. The Kitten Lady on YouTube (I believe that's what the channel is called) has some amazing tips & tricks.

yosoyfatass If you do the introductions correctly, I bet your older cat will be so happy to have a feline companion! Regardless, thanks for rescuing the baby!

Steam_Powered_Banana OP Rn they can sniff each other thru the door. The vet just said no exchange bodily fluids until we can do the blad test in a couple weeks. :)

tank1952 It may start out rough with the two kitties at first, but it's a 99 % chance they'll get along. Even my crusty old man has accepted our young lady.

Steam_Powered_Banana OP Our current boy has been able to sniff the baby thru the door and he's seen him once so far with no hissing. Still avoiding getting them too close until we can bl d test the baby. :)

tank1952 That's awesome. I've learned the hard way that it's better to be safe than sorry. Our 17 year old grand kitty gave her adopted brother something that he was never able to shake. Highly approve of a clean slate from the vet before the meet/cute!

Steam_Powered_Banana OP Oh goodness! I haven't run into that so far,so I'm hoping to keep it that way.... I'd love for these 2 to be buddies in the long run~

WildesWay Love it! Ah yes... ask the universe and the FDS responds! It's always best for the kitty to pick their human. Congrats!

LovedAJackass If he's not a fit at your house, put out the word and try to get him a forever home instead of a shelter.

Fantastic_Example_20 it is great you could help him - he was in immediate and longer term danger without your help

Steam_Powered_Banana OP I'm so glad I was able to. When I heard him yelling I got out of my car to go find him. I couldn't just leave him.

Steam_Powered_Banana OP That's what I am hoping. Our older cat was a rescue from a friend's aunt's..... He wasnt taken care of properly and it was a border house. He's been a lil spicy, but adjusting well. :)
